RITCHEY Break Away Steel Cross Frame

The Break-Away Cross disassembles and assembles in minutes and comes complete with a travel bag. Ritchey custom steel tubesets and the patented compression coupling system are the keys to this design. The frame is securely joined at the seatpost in two places and on the downtube. The coupler clamps unobtrusively around small flanges on the downtube. While this system is as secure as systems much larger it adds less than 100 grams.

The Ritchey Break Away Cross is built so well that many customers race this bike during the cross season. It rides with the typical speed and handling of a Ritchey designed bike. The coolest thing is you can take your own personal, full size bike with you on business or pleasure and ride your bike wherever you go due to its unique coupling system.
